WELCOME PARTY
“the night before”
Let’s bee-gin the weekend with a buzz!
Drop by Savannah Bee Company for honey, charcuterie, and mead… and say hello to the bride and groom!
when: April 11, 6pm - 8pm
where: Savannah Bee Company
104 W Broughton St
Savannah, GA 31401
*please ensure you are going to the Savannah Bee on Broughton Street (there are multiple locations in town and we don’t want you going to the wrong one!)
-
Since most of our guests are traveling from out of town, we wanted to get everyone together to meet and mingle before the big day! This is a great chance to see the bride, groom, and their families before the ceremony.
-
Savannah Bee Company on Broughton Street. The address is 104 W Broughton Street. (Please do not go to the other Savannah Bee location... we won't be there!)
-
It's up to you! Stay and enjoy the mead, games, and charcuterie boards for the whole time, or swing by as it works for your travel plans!
-
We will be serving sweet and savory charcuterie boards, refreshments, and mead. There are tons of varieties of mead to suit every style, whether you’re a beer-, wine-, or liquor-drinker!
-
If you think there’s a chance you’ll come, please RSVP “yes” to the invite! We won’t hold you to it - we just want to have an idea of headcount for food! If you know you won’t be able to join, please RSVP no. Thank you!
-
Evening casual. Wear something you might wear to a nice restaurant.
-
Street parking and parking garages are available in the vicinity.
However, Savannah Bee Company is located on Broughton Street, which is one of the most popular downtown streets and can get congested on Friday nights. If you're staying in a hotel nearby, consider walking or Ubering. -
Don’t worry, bees are not invited.
-
Don't forget to take goody bags when you leave the party!
FAQ
Kava Honey as Winnie the Pooh
honeymoon 🍯🌙
The word “honeymoon” comes from…
In medieval times, guests would give the marrying couple a lunar month’s worth of mead, aka fermented honey. The bride and groom were then expected to guzzle down the alcohol to bring good luck, fertility, and a “sweet” and prosperous life.
P.S. This is for education purposes only. Please do not give Alli + Dylan a month’s worth of honey. Thank you.
